Charles R,
Seems I was reading something about the Joshua being a viable contender at the lower end.
As far as Samuel, I belive that's the old Winchip core they are grooming for high MHZ...I guess they are going for the Mhz-Sell (TM McMannis) routine...

Jim

Chuck,

I will start of the day after XMAS with a nice rumor - from the great JCs news update -

Fellow named Valkin tells me that he found from a rep that HotRail (nee Poseidon, I recall) dual and quad chipsets (for the Athlon) will be released in Q1 next year, possibly as early as January. Well, this is quite a bit more appealing than the previous rumours, which suggested a delay all the way to the middle of the year. Of course (as we already know), Tyan is expected to be the first company to market dual-capable boards for K7 variants.
