What bothers me more is the sensationalism of the press and magazines like SI to publish this bigotry.Do they feel the need to present the viewpoints of any athlete even if it reaks from "ethnic cleansing"?

The First Amendment only prevents the Government from silencing him. There is nothing to stop MLB from silencing him, the 1st amendment doesn't apply there. I just hope the MLB has the good sense to let a fool be a fool.

Exactly what did John Rocker say? All I know is he doesn't like New York because of all of the forginers who don't speak English. That doesn't seem racist to me. But then I never hear the news tell what he said. Just all of the special intrest groups complaining.
