Taxes? This was known 3 years ago, but now he brings it up? The moritorium is ending. The states will not permit this to continue to occur. Listen, John Doerr his VC sits on Al Gores economic team, if anyone can crush this state sales initiative, its Mr Doerr. I agree but the politics here may be beyond Mr. Doerr. What I think is Bezos is using this excuse, to camouflage his long expected failure. Giving away more than his cost would eventually f%^k his shareholders. I suspect it never crossed his mind. davidjewelers.com was profitable during their first 2.5 months of operation. Go figure.
