If ya gotta... I guess the Indy heads market is more tempting than the media market, but IMO it's still extremely risky...

What forecasts have you been looking at?!? It's actually much more bleak than that. 2 years from no we should see closer to 45-50GB per platter. 3 years is something like 80+. Seems to me in a few years it'll be a rare desktop that is shipped with more than a 1(certainly not more than 2) head DD. Add it all up and there is still a lot of bleeding on the horizon in the Indy market.
