"Stuff like that" may be affected by gravitational influences and/or electrical fields. The moon was recently at Perigee and closer than any other time in 133 years or so they said on TV. Moon's gravitational field closer to your "stuff like that". Tiny orbiting protons/neutrons spinning in unusual accelerated exaggerated orbits. Electro/chemical imbalances in the brain influence thought processes. Dreams are a form of thought process. Voila! Or it could be the influence of the holiday season and a great culinary experience . . post-prandial stupor, yeah! that's it.
