Now I'm failing. Ain't that sad.

No name, no juice with me. Why you should care is beyond me but you seem to.

Bye.

So Kis when does it all end? After the new year when everyone can sell and wait another year to pay taxes or are they going to hold out for another 50% return on their money?

Hank

I've been on holiday for too long when I get back to see this thread as #3 on the hot list...largely due to you and Dale pissing on one another!

I think most long time market sceptics on this board would agree that we are witnessing something unprecedented. Parabolic blowoff? Probably! You have three choices:
1) Go long.
2) Go short.
3) Do nothing.

Choice #1 is easy if you've been long for the whole ride. Would most bulls commit fresh capital to the market at current levels and feel comfortable? I don't think so. Shorting the bubble stocks has been a fool's game but one day will pay big, but when? Picking the top is difficult at best and I don't like to sweat or grow grey hairs in my head. The choice for me is #3. I've made my share this year in the mania and will wait and see what Y2K holds, as well as Greenspan, the bond market, inflation, nuclear winter, etc. My personal take is that the easy money has been made, and the pigs are about to get slaughtered. I will be there with my hoard of cash when the blood is flowing thick.

Happy Holidays to all the insightful folks on this thread who make it my favorite on SI! It's been a fun year...
