Silex Systems of Australia is the company that will license the laser isotope separation to ISON...SILX stock has moved up a little over the past few weeks, does anyone follow these two stocks? any knowledge of the relationship or movement in the technology?

Thanks for providing the information. At $10/processor, I would expect that marginal cost benefit would be attractive for high end devices.

I don't see any advantage for AMD to announce the commercial adoption of Si-28 if it were to happen. I would not be surprised if somebody in the industry is subjecting a sample of each new top speed Athlon processor to an ion mill and a mass spectrometer.

Although an incremental improvement in thermal performance can be achieved through a straight material substitution, I believe that optimal performance would involve changes in device active area layout and packaging.
