Yes....numbers to the most recent trade. If one looks back to a previous trade period, 10 makes it very quick....at least that's how I've come to use them. It's a personal preference, that's all.

Why weight the portfolio at all? If Q outperforms the silverbacks as readily next year as it did this year, why give it a head-start? I know the percentages will still tell the real story, but it would be kind of fun to start everyone off at the same place and see where they go...

I also think that by weighting the portfolio, we would be sending the message to lurkers that these are the proportions in which we feel these stocks should be held. Is that something we really want to do? (Perhaps it is...)

Hi Uncle.

I agree about your choices , and like especially your choice of SUNW as a "king", in the internet buildout. They are the "king" in Unix servers, and are a building block for the internet buildout with JAVA, JINI, the MAJC low-power chip and other innovations...

Thx for the great work

Thx to all the thread participants, for making me so much money this year (too bad I started with so little, but you gotta start somewhere... <g>)

I have a special mention to Lindybill as the gutsiest man alive, with his "move" on Qualcomm... I could never have done it, but I am still in awe and amazed....

Happy NEW Year everyone...

Take care
Jean
