Someone has lit a fire under CLTR.
This could be our biggest day yet.

<Someone please talk me out of selling 500 shares of INCY>

Nope, put a collar on 25% of my position today as a matter of fact.

V1, let me try.

See Larry Liebman's posts this evening on the Biotech Valuation thread:
Message 12392981
Message 12393217 and
Message 12393590

And Peter Suzman's: Message 12393635

It is far from clear that the momentum in the genomics stocks will let up soon, even though it has taken INCY to more than we might think of as “fair value.” (Although mostly I'm just puzzled about what fair value might be – I don't have a clear idea what INCY's arguable advantage in software, partnerships and patent applications, and its contract rights to royalties on drugs developed with its databases and reagents, are “worth” – probably a potentially humungous amount, but that depends on how a lot of things work out, that we won't know for a while. Since the price of Venter's CRA has benefited from far more hype than INCY, which notably goes unmentioned in many articles about the genomics companies, INCY is likely less far “ahead of itself” than CRA, HGSI, and the rest).

Although I lightened up a bit Thursday in INCY (some IRA shares, some long-term capital gain shares), I sort of wish I hadn't, and expect to stand pat with the remaining 80% of my position and see how far this thing can roar.

Can't bring myself to... Still flogging myself for having been happy for getting in at $17 and out at $24...
