You're right, I see that. Tomorrow morning I'm going to try something similar. Great premium--I like the strike price too, can't miss

Plus I'm going to place a limit order for another 2002 leap (or maybe 2001, I'll figure it out later) based on today's low for QCOM. If it trades crazy like this tomorrow or Thursday maybe I'll get it

RULE #3: Little piggies get fat and hogs get slaughtered. The same applies to "crumbs" and "whole loaves"... Never, ever get over-extended with options. It is the sure path to the margin call, or similar ruin.

Gosh, that was just perfect timing, PAL. I'm really hoping to learn more about put selling from you and edamo. Congrats.

I watched QCOM closely all day ("Oh, something new?",Jill asks) and bought 5 calls when QCOM was trading at 475 in the breathless 35 point drop in the last half hour. Before anyone thinks I'm brilliant, I want to admit that I was reducing my cost basis on what was supposed to have been an options daytrade on QCOM. At least I'm being honest. :)
