TO ALL I think that ICGE did very well today considering that CMGI tanked 10 points whereas, ICGE with its NICE Run UP could not hold it BUT we held our own. Without a doubt- This is where I want to be .... long and strong... I have sold off 1/2 of my AOL position because I feel that subscription based ISP's GROWTH are going to "slow" somewhat from here. With that said//// LOOKING to ADD to my ICGE position.

Dawg, thought provoking reply. Now you're talking about the things which make reading into these huge published numbers a dangerous game for those of us without a broad economic background. I'd love to hear a more economy savvy bull address your issue.

That being said, from my layman's bullish perspective, the world and the economy are changing in fundamental ways as a result of the efforts of ICGE and other internet companies. I think the global markets that are opened and the efficiencies that are created by these changes can't be properly evaluated in the light of the present economical structure. To a certain extent, I'm relying on the expertise of the analysts that arrived at the numbers cited in my last post to help me ballpark what the new economy might evolve into. My sense is that numbers tend to be being revised upward.

At bottom, the fundamental change the internet is bringing about, the "paradigm shift", is the impetus underlying all this internet speculation. Personally, I am not ruling out the possibility that events will unfold in ways that justify current valuations. I am speculating to some degree based on that.

Finally, my initial post wasn't meant to focus in on an exact number for ICGE. There are lots of contingencies not accounted for. The idea was simply to get a sense of the scope of the potential market that ICGE is working in (according to ostensibly reliable and even *conservative* sources) and to justify what many feel is an unwarranted market cap.

You've got to be in it to win it. Go ICGE. <g>

I can assure you that as the CFO of my 600 person company, we will still be paying 60% of our money out for pay and benefits, 15% for technology and telecom, another 15% for various supplies and space,

Hi Dawgfool, If I may ask, what is the product your company sells?
