The XING news coupled with the article entitled "Qualcomm to Boost CDMA in China" (http://www.eet.com/story/OEG19991228S0019) is very bullish IMO.

I think we can safely assume that China will try to steal technology and IPR, thus avoiding royalties. The WTO agreement will make it a lot harder for them to do this and hopefully reduce the massive theft to a pilferage level. I understand that India is in the same situation.
