Lorrie isn't nuts. She can be very humorous and brilliant at times.

Agree with every single one of your cuts. Now sharpen that knife and get back to work! FWIW, in spite of the production genius involved, I have major bias against films that lean heavily on special effects.

In spite of entertainment arousal factor in movies like Star Wars -- a great movie about "space" was Apollo 13. Not only a fabulous film without gimmicks but 100 percent accurate in portrayal of events and prevailing NASA culture of the time.

A decent list might have also included a Disney classic or two to go along some of the futuristic fantasy fare.

Awful list!
