Kevin, Good Luck convincing anyone with this tact.

I have stated my position over and over. But I'll give it to you all again. Please pay attention so you won't need to continue with this redundancy.

I have invested in ZIXI as a long term position. I hedged this position with long puts, and do not otherwise use options. My original investment decision was based not on David Cook's words that a contract would be delivered by December 31st of this year. My decision is based on an encryption technology that surpasses that which is currently available.

You have taken the CEO's words to heart, and that may be good for you to do. Do you remember the other words he has spoken? Regarding the shorts? I think you do. So then can we surmise that you would have us take those words verbatim? If that is the case I would sure figure out a way quickly out of this trap! DC reads these threads on occasion. And I suspect he takes most of the short's derogatory comments about ZIXI and himself, personally from time to time. In fact I think that he can make quite a case for holding this news for purposes of marketing momentum, and trapping the shorts at the same time.

For the record. I do not believe there is news coming this week. Don't get me wrong. I would have preferred to put this to rest a couple of weeks ago, but it isn't my decision. David Cook has proven himself over the years to be a powerful influence in whatever market he chooses. I maintain that bringing the ZixCharge, new contracts, and partners during the Holiday Season would have been a waste of marketing momentum. And as a long term shareholder, I prefer to have all of the cards stacked in our favor as is possible. I say bring it NEXT week, and watch the jackals run.

The shorts only rallying cry at the moment is Cook's self imposed deadline. It is interesting that you guys no longer dispute the existence or value of the encryption system. Instead you are consumed with a statement made many months ago. So I pose this question to you and the more "popular SI personalities."

Have you considered the possibility that a series of contracts have been signed for ZixCharge already, but will not be released until the timing of such an announcement is more appropriate? Do you think that the contracts for ZixMail were reached the day they were announced? Or were they held back until DC believed the timing was right? I believe I know the answer. Do you?

Enjoy the ride!!
