Not gonna get into it on the thread, but I was involved with a company outta Britain that wanted to bring over the smart card to N.A ten years ago...Didn' work out then either... There's a negative stigma attached to them in N.A., as an individual has to "purchase" the smart card, or in other words, put up the money before he spends it same as those Bell Long Distance cards they sell in the local variety stores... Damned if I'm gonna want one... They've got a long way's to go in lining up merchants and bside's that at this point in time, they restrictive to the merchants that sign up... Re: Internet purchase's via Visa... Technology is right around the corner where there will be a lot less of it around... Beside's that, I think that's blown out of proportion right now... I also believe that that if one makes a purchase some some little known internet outlet, he be the fool... Anyway's Good Luck with it... I just took a little break to catch up on the thread...
