Hi Steve, Happy New Millennium to you and yours as well. We'll be in and out over the changing of the calendar as well but I hope to be able to check in periodically.

If anyone is looking for something to add to the very top of their Investment Pyramid, this one might be interesting. It is in the "biotech" area that has started to warm up just recently. It IPO'd last summer and had a rather quiet beginning, but would have been quite AIMable (is that another new term?) in its short history. I believe it came public at about $12/share, hit a low of about $7 and is currently at about $15+/share. Plenty of room for an AIM account with a fat cash reserve. Here's the chart:

Since it's Phase III for human trials, it's not exactly at the drug stores yet, but they do have sales to veterinary suppliers at this time. The company name is Biopure with symbol BPUR on the NASDAQ. Products are "Oxyglobin" for veterinary use and "Hemopure" for human use. It's an oxygen carrying purified blood substitute. Please do your own research and remember that this is a pyramid peak item and not a pyramid foundation stock like Merck or Bayer at this point.

Drop in when you can, Steve.

Best regards, Tom
