<<As an HP stockholder waiting for shares of A, I hope you shorts get run over by the train!>>

I'll never understand why shorts are rated lower than the black plague. Look at it this way - the shorts are creating a low entry point for all the long term investors. Shorts always have a short term time frame and have to cover driving the price back up. If you're a long term investor use the dip to your advantage.

Is a short seller any different from a long that reduces his or her position and then buys back in at a lower price?

Anyway, shorting again at $75 makes my basis $68. Yes, it was scary when the price hit $79. I think everyone will have a buy-in opportunity in the high $50s early in the new year. C'mon guys and gals. I only want it to be there for a few hours;then it can go back up into the 80s.

Remember, you're all long term buy and hold investors that don't follow the price movement every day (minute); you only look in the WSJ once a year on Dec 31st. lol. Best wishes to you all.
