Excellent post David! That explains why I got hit in the ass so often with ABX (I was looking at US quotes). The RRSP thing, like duh!, I should have known.

I wonder if we break the trend of a selloff late in the day. I am starting to feel that maybe we will hold onto gains today as the traders stare at the cash inflows expected in january. We shall see although this is a non factor for long term investors.

Prepared for a slight drop in JDSU in the short term after the split but this should be very short lived (if it happens at all).

good luck

HI David:

Thanks for your explanation.

I bought my jdu outside my rrsp, can I convert all my shares to the stocks on Nasdaq? And if so, I should be buying more all the time on TSE to convert to Nasdaq at a later date. Looking forward to your response.

Thanks

Mary
