You're missing the point. In order to make the tie-in, they have to give in something (branding has its price). Either it's a rebate (which goes against CPQ's bottom line), or it's a payment to AV to be branded as the premiere brand sponsor of the ISP (or a barter arrangement of some nature). Either way, there are costs associated, with no clear incentive on the upside.

I wouldn't be surprised, either, to see it tried. There is alot of stupid management out there...........
