DN, The source of the money is Alan the G dumping liquidity into the economy and folks taking down debt to buy stocks, directly or, much more often, indirectly (instead of paying off the credit card bills, you make minimum payment and buy Mundane Net Net Fund).

401K money is not enough any more to move this market. After all, salaries have not gone up like stock prices.

I am sticking my toe into the water. My main worry is if the lights stay on after the ball drops on Dec. 31, the lame brains will assume that Y2K is not a threat and borrow more to buy stocks.

I am waiting for Qualcomm to hit the goof's target. <g> Not really. I am giving it the super hairy eyeball. And to think that I owned this sucker in the 20s and sold after it reached fair value at $45. Arghhhhhh! <g>
