Hey carl & fudd: Tell me it isn't so! Some say we're going to $17 real fast, just as some told me we were going to $10 real fast when we were at $17...Based on this advice, perhaps one better take a big bear position and write some puts as suggested by some here as a wise thing to do with such an outlook...Yousniff, like one other here, tell me that's a wise strategy, so it must be so! Contrary to the opinions of Carl, neg $0.62 fudd and yousniff who say it must be so...,I think AMD will get to $48 long before we ever see $17, based upon technicals and fundamentals as I see them...but opposite points of view are what makes a market. The carls, neg $0.62 fudds and yousniffs were all here at $17...Is it any surprise that their tunes should be louder at $28.50? Nothing has changed according to their outlook, history repeats...Intc goes to the moon, AMD tanks...no Athlon, no flash sales, all PWeeIII 733's...non-partisan viewpoint, honest, they say! Sorry to disappoint these guys,but another scenario is already unfolding...the Athlon (r)evolution has just begun. Some were underwhelmed by 200,000 Athlons in Q3, are underwhelmed by 800,000 (minimum) Athlons in Q4 and will so remain with 9 to 10 million Athlons in Y2000...(Just seems there are some underwhelming personalities at play.) That some choose to close their eyes to the Athlon, won't make the very real Athlon assault on the high end go away!
