See my message to JLA, just before this.....I hope that Connecticut was pleasant, and that you have come up with something for New Year's Eve. We have been running around so much, and spending so much, I have not yet dealt with the question of celebrating the New Year, although we usually do so quietly: Pieper- Heidseck, a lot of pate and cheese, maybe some oysters and smoked blue fish, maybe miscellaneous other things, baguettes, and watching the ball fall in tranquillity--- although I am considering finally doing New Year's in Times Square for the true millenium, next year............
