Daniel is very intelligent and interesting, but you have to talk politely and respectfully with him to find that out. He's also got a wicked sense of humor. And as he and I agree on the "punishment squad" stuff, I think he's very perceptive. I don't always read the entire thread, sometimes I only have time to pick things out. It's very hard to keep track of who started a particular argument. I've asked a lot of people, and I know you have, too, to leave the arguments that started on "Sanity" and elsewhere off of Feelies, not to drag them over here. My perception is that for the most part, Daniel's disagreements with people on Feelies originate on Feelies, e.g., the "research is bunk" argument with Neo. That started right here, so I think it's fair to continue here, no matter how tired I may be of it. I think it's fair, that doesn't mean I don't skip over it. Ish, for one, brought up stuff that Daniel posted on other threads to show why he doesn't like him. I don't think that's fair. I don't read those threads, I don't know who started what, I know things started a long time ago, and only the participants know what happened, and like "Rashomon," will never agree. I think it's disengenuous of Vaughn to say "there you go again," and then act like he wasn't quoting Reagan. I thought it was repugnant, morally outrageous, for people to use "Merry Christmas" and "Jesus loves you" as an attack. I don't think Daniel ever stoops that low. He may be nasty, but he isn't fake about it. "Nasty-nice" as the English call it. There's something truly horrid about a person being nasty with a nice face.
