Larry,

I'm one of those using Newport on my Mac. I'm currently running it via VirtualPC on a 300Mhz G3 PB. I used to run it on a 604/160MHz Mac, but that machine is now running a flight simulator for a local flight school.

Bob,

My wife and I are programmers (she's a PC'er, while I do Macs) and have thought about writing/porting a Mac version of Newport if you are agreeable; we don't want to infringe on the excellent work you've done on Newport, nor do we want to reinvent the Newport wheel. If you're interested you can send me a PM.
