Mike:

I have a few Indian friends. They tell me that the number of software companies and professionals in India has been increasing at a tremendous rate the last few years. Indians have an advantage due to their primarily English based education system. Many US software companies have opened branches in India: Microsoft, HP, IBM, Adobe etc. US multinationals will increase profit margins at any cost even in the event American workers lose their well-paying jobs. I think American workers will be competing head-on with foreign workers if WTO and the multi-nationals get their way. To their disadvantage they are on the average less educated drawing a larger wage than their foreign counterpart. This is also the reason I believe that price inflation will be well contained as global capitalism expands. Asset and stock price inflation is a different matter which will be governed by usual herd behavior.
