It would of been bad for both companies!!! MEMO and NCI(EDIG). MEMO would of been the manufacturing arm and NCI the brains (R&D). Neither had the money to pull it off IMHO.

I believe Mr Root departed soon thereafter (Jan) and the Lanier contract/development signed during the same time frame.

As we can see now, it was a good thing that it did not happen.

JMHO, but the party is only starting. But you always have those that depart early to beat the traffic. Those are the ones with GTC orders just in case they are out of town or out of touch. I believe they will be unhappy in the days ahead.

For 1999 EDIG gained well over 4000%. For 2000 I can invision 200 - 400% gain. Could be more if INTEL and VoiceTimes have a more active roll later in the year.

Walter, I see you're flailing out the NEW YEAR with another exercise in tail chasing.

Relax buddy. Who cares if Memo survives or who could have been the surviving company in a merger?

Dragon attempted a package of their software and Memo's device. The market wasn't ready for a half-baked product that Memo couldn't support. I predict Dragon will stick to their plan of software sales only. They have a good product, but it will have to be integrated further with more document management systems.

Walter, I hope this year will find you positioning less with the irrelevant and obscure peripheral issues that serve more as distractions and obstacles to understanding this company.

Hopefully, you still own your 100 shares of eDig that gives you the incentive to continue your postings here.

Happy New Year

Oops, that's $10 million in sales and not $10.

Congratulations Walter. You are receiving my first post of the New Year:-)

Thanks for all of the backround data. It actually was helpful.

I will answer your question " So, do you think EDIG has a chance of taking away MEMO's business?"

Don't know. Don't really care right now.

What I do know is that the industry is huge, that there will be more than one player, that more will attempt to jump on the bandwagon and that I am LONG LONG LONG LONG
EDIG:-)
