This is BAD news for ZIXI. Obviously no contracts & blaming posters for it!! And, oh dear, not even crediting Rick for all of his great posts that so effectively countered the critics.

BTW, be interesting to see which Zixmail-using law firm is handling the suit.

I have to admit, this development is better for the short case than anything I could have thought of. By Zixit's own admission (paragraph 28 of the complaint), all those banks that were supposed to be interested in ZixCharge have stopped returning Zixit's calls.

Best case scenario now for ZIXI appears to be extracting a quick settlement from Visa, and using that cash to fund business plan #4. What does everyone think, should they become a Linux company next or perhaps a wireless networking company?

EDIT: Come to think of it, suing Visa probably is the new business plan.

EDIT AGAIN: I must remember to find out when this case appears in court. I want to be there to see that case get thrown all the way to the grassy knoll.
