It's merely the public's perception... They could not wait!
We are only celebrating going into year 2000, a milestone.
The REAL century/millennium starts 1-1-2001.
Whether you choose to believe it or not.
Year one A.D. Started the First day of Year 1.
1 + 1000 = 1001 (start of second millennium).
1001 + 1000 = 2001 (start of second millennium).
That's it... pure & simple.

I'm happy to have witnessed a very happy new year's going into year 2000... not the start of a new century/millennium.

The Media will have to make-up a good excuse to celebrate the new millennium AGAIN, to make more money, before we get to the end of year 2000. Mark my words...

Happy New Year!

It's GREAT!

Many more to all!

I will not argue the point... it is very clear...

Joe

>>Some people think too much ...

Well, I wouldn't complain about that. Probably the gist of what you're getting at is that some people think too much within the box. Look at the letter rather than the spirit. Am I close?

Happy New Millennium, ZP, our founder <g>. Don't forget: This thread's birthday is my birthday <GGG>.
