Printer question.
I have noticed a problem recently and am hoping someone on this thread can give me a suggestion. My trading machine is a P3-600 with 512 RAM on a cable modem. The printer is an HP722C, During the trading day I usually have RT3, Pristine ESP and a number of windows in Netscape open. When I try to print something , e.g. an SI post, it sometimes takes the printer a long time, perhaps 2 minutes to print. Other times it seems to print at the normal pace. However while it is printing or during the long delayed printing, it seems to bring everything else almost to a halt. For example bringing up a new RT3 window.
Obviously this should not happen. Is there some setting I should adjust? Would a USB printer cause less of a problem?
Thanks for any help and a happy, healthy and wealthy New Year to all.
