Great random thoughts, Nichols. I hope your feeling about our being in the second inning is right, as I'm of those people who had more cojones than brains six months ago and have been 99% in Q.

Happy new Year to you.

I agree.....it amazes me to see the number of people lining up to get this stock. From folks that know nothing and have never bought a stock to seasoned investors that have shunned the Q up til now....everybody is waiting to get on the Q train.

I too firmly believe we are just getting started.

happy and healthy new year to all

Nichols-

Great thoughts. It seems as if everyone is talking about QCOM, I have had several friends call me to tell that they are about to buy QCOM. A couple of nights ago I observed the AOL "Market Chat" rooms for a few minutes, and I repeatedly saw people stating that they were about to sell all of their AOL, or AMZN...or whatever, and buy the Q.So we will be seeing a lot of buying pressure from the fickle holders/chasers.

GSTRF will be huge, it is beginning to act just as QCOM did before blastoff. Patience does pay off.CDMA everywhere.

SI ia absolutely the best. What a great community intelligence. Thank you to everyone. Scott

Its funny that 2-3 years ago when I started on SI I was embarased to tell people this is how I researched. I thought
people would think I was some chat room geek. However the ability to talk to people like Engineer, Gregg P,JGoren(lawyerly stuff)Chare(one of the most valuable guys here) has been invaluable. I have made 10's of millions thanks to these people. So Thanks to all the long timers, Id like to think I was the genius, but it was really all of you who took the time to teach me. I know am a qualified expert in Qcom and wireless Tech. However you were my mentors and for as long as I live my familly and me will always appreciate the time, and Effort you put in here for free. The education was worth 20X what I paid for my college degree. I would like to thank Jon Koplik who taught me about SI and Introduced me to Gregg Powers. Id like to thank Maurice for being the optimist when it looked the bleakest. Id like to thank Whouston,Mika,JHD and all the other silent majority of oldtimers who have gone into hybernation. Clark and Engineer thanks for the Engineering lessons, Ramsey thanks for being the Devils advocate and thread pessimist. A special thanks to Ferspag and Ruffian for just having the Balls never to sell a shrare. As for the rest who I have conversed with who I forget Thanks also. Lets hope next year is 20% as good as this year! To the rest of you HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

My younger brother (who has just started watching CNBC) dogged me all weekend until I helped him set up an account for trading. He bought the computer on Thursday WHY? You guessed it QCOM.

Nichols - you expressed my feelings very well. I am not one to go on in print as you did, but feel just as you do and would say the same (in person) to any one of the many people here on the Q thread.

Best,
Jeff Smith
