ok. i met a woman who was a practical nurse in the us army on a trip. she lived in a small town in oregon. do you know she takes a rod in her purse when she goes to the movies. do you know she was frightened to be in downtown christchurch 9pm (with three other people, two of them males). and she was no creampuff gal, she was in uncle sam's army... i mentioned that she might like canada, and she wouldn't live in fear here. nah, she wouldn't be able to get the same sort of job here, so she said no. heck, she had a pension from her 20 year service with uncle sam too. why is money and stuff so important ? anyway, you may have responded, where else is there ?
