happy , which country is 'this' country ? i live in canada. we are probably more 'socialistic' or whatever you want to call it than the usa is...and i for one am very, very pleased that we are. we pay more in taxes, but we get a lot back too. certainly there is a lot of government wasteage, but services cost money. what i find with a lot of people is they bitch about taxes, then when THEY need a service, they can't figure out why its not there. in other words, when their aging parent needs an ambulance, the ambulance should be there in thirty seconds. needless to say they typically begrudge a person who drives one a decent salary. everyone except themselves and their family should work for grass. as far as the person i referenced who had an accident, i think you are really pushing my buttons here. he broke his back. you won't go blind working on a computer. i really resent you comparing the two situations i'm sorry, i resent your criticisms of Australia, for there are very few countries that take people in and let them become full, real citizens. also, be careful about high school dropouts and their influence on politics. our previous provincial education minister did not complete high school. i kid you not. our minister of transportation's big claim to fame was that he ran a car dealership. i kid you not. and you should be careful about who you think is or will be in politics...Remember Ross P ?
