You sound like you have a chip on your shoulder. Perhaps the written word is easily misinterpreted. No offense meant.

As far as my days as a bear, I consider my view that we where and still are in a bubble, correct. As far as investing though, I learned that bubbles can go on indefinitely and there is now reason to fight the mania. I joined it. When I fought it, I was wrong.

And while buying lots of inuts and holding them long term would have been an excellent strategy, hindsight is 20/20, and I am very pleased with my strategy of trading them short term. I limited my risk and have made excellent gains.

While I didn't feel compelled to prepare for Y2K the way you did, I admire your "better safe than sorry attitude". For me, I never felt the risk warranted it.
