Fat lady ain't sung yet ..

embeded chips seem to have made the turn .. software is another deal ..

Small businesses with DOS based record keeping could be real fun during the next couple weeks ..

Impact still undetermined .. on a scale of 0 - 100 with 100 being the hardest hit it's looking like it'll be in the range of about 15 .. perhaps lower .. however .. she still ain't sung her song ..

I guess the next rollover to worry about will not be for another thousand years

This just shows you how big a problem this really was. Going from the year 2999 to 3000 will be same as any other year change because programs now store the date with 4 characters.

We won't have to worry for another 7,999 years when we roll over to the year 10,000. Then we'll have to do this all over again.
