Where I disagree with you is first that you seem to be assuming that Judeo-Christian values are somehow superior to generally agreed upon codes of conduct in other religions and cultures. However, the same things are against the law, or considered immoral, in most cultures and religions in the western world, religious or secular.

In fact, in some cases culture is far more important than religion as an influence on behavior, an example being that in many Catholic cultures, it is accepted that men will have wives AND mistresses.

The second place I disagree is that you SEEM to be implying that people who are religious are more ethical, moral, or law abiding than nonreligious people, when in fact pagans and atheists and agnostics are just as likely to be excellent role models and even conservative parents as anyone else, and probably do a bit more thinking about what is right and good than those who are handed a tidy belief system from their churches.
