Hi Keith
I'll look into the problem of not being able to set up Newport in a new directory. I hadn't heard that before. I'll let you know what I find out.

I've had a number of users with the "Type Mismatch" error so I'll repeat the instructions for resetting Windows to it's default date format:

Click on "Start"
Go to "Settings"
Go to "Control Panel"
Double click on "Regional Settings"
Click on "Date"
In the box labeled "Short Date Style" make sure the format is "M/d/yy"

This should solve that problem. If you're having another problem please let me know at newport@execpc.com and I'll do my best to help you out.

Bob

Thanks for the compliment, Keith. I knew you were kidding around, but I just wanted to say what I had to say, and you had just the right post to respond to.

My Newport program rolled over to Y2K just fine, after installing the newest update that Bob Norman supplied. Thanks, Bob, if you're listening.

Sincerely,
RFH
