I think what I said was that fulfillment was included as a cost of sales at the direct PC manufacturers, therefore why would Amazon do it any different?

But truthfully I only think that because what I was told in meetings... I could be wrong. I do know for certain that the margins on Dell's "shipping and handling" line item are some of the largest on the product - there are a bunch of items that dell sells that would be losers if not for S&H which pops things up right into profitability.
