Hi Goutama:

An additional factor in all of this is the exponential e-commerce growth that is currently unfolding before us. A short time ago, it was possible for GTW and Dell to clog the distribution channels as many fewer channels were in existence. With the internet explosion, the consumer is becoming increasingly savvy at an alarmingly fast rate for those vendors who stand still or get locked into a bad supply deal. It is no longer such a big deal for the consumer to shop elsewhere...GTW and Dell risk rustication (OK if I say that Bill?) of their image in the marketplace by not offering the Athlon system, "the better mousetrap at the better price" to the consumer.

Hi Goutama:

Looks like the curtain has been raised today! GTW can't be more than a week away, assuming AMD's processors are not already oversubscibed by others for the foreseeable future!

All this reminds me of Mr. Sanders November 11 quote: "There is no question we are moving up the food chain." Today's activities bring new meaning to this prophetic statement!
