I can't believe it. I turned off the KC game with Oakland behind and the ball in KC's possession with not much time remaining.

Seahawk's in the playoffs. WOW!

Seahawks Release Receiver Dawkins
KIRKLAND, Wash. (AP) - The Seattle Seahawks released wide receiver Sean Dawkins, who led the team with 992 yards receiving last season, on Thursday.

Mike Holmgren, the Seahawks' executive vice president and coach, tried to restructure Dawkins' contract but the two sides could not reach an agreement.

``It was a tough decision, but in order to sign our draft choices we had to make some adjustments,'' Holmgren said. ``We're trying to get things in order so that this type of situation won't happen in the future.''

Dawkins signed with the Seahawks last offseason as an unrestricted free agent. He played in 16 games, started 13 and had 58 receptions, including seven touchdowns.
