My view of QCharts has been, by and large, very positive. I have had few problems with it, and I believe I was the very first person to ever sign on to their QCharts service as a paying customer.

But one thing that seems inexcusable is the "home office" reaction to data feed problems.

This is perhaps the best-read QCharts "source" anywhere on the web. We now know we have had a problem with data feed since Globex opened yesterday at 6:30 p.m. EST. We know that Globex itself has NO problems (their feed at exchanges.barchart.com works just fine, for example).

And yet nobody from QCharts has bothered to show up at this site to inform us what the problems may be, or how and when they will be solved. No E-mail has been sent to the customer base. No apology has been offered, much less an explanation.

Since QCharts has started, I have probably sent at least 50 customers their way. I apologize to those people for sending them to such a "care-less" supplier.

What has happened here (again) is a perfect example of a good service offering the worst possible customer relations, shooting itself in the foot, the knee, the arm ... click, click ... they now have the gun held to their head. Dumb. Real dumb.

Eski: I guess you would say if you buy a Ford or Chevy instead of a Rolls Royce, one should not expect either the Ford or the Chevy to start up each morning and function well enough to get you to work each morning, huh?

YOU SHOULD GET WHAT YOU CONTRACTED FOR REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE AGREED UPON!

Regards,
LG
