Thanks, Temple. I still don't understand why Quote.com's policy is to use Onelist for that information while eschewing using their mailing list except when they want us to donate our time to (a) be an uncompensated 'leader' or (b) help them generate impressive #'s to get more $$$ from their advertisers. This only adds fuel to the fire that Quote.com doesn't view us as paying customers but as paying employees whom they expect to provide services to them rather than vice versa.

They call this 'Unforeseen'. (A) My broker was notified of the change and informed their customers last week of the change. I think unforeseen means 'we were notified but chose to keep our customers in the dark because our culture at Quote.com is to be sloppy about such things' and (B) this is why professional organizations had staff on call over the weekend; for 'unforseen' Y2K related problems and it appears the 0 to 1 change is directly related to the date change.
