Fix CHK...

Fix - sorry, I dont follow TLM, or CHK closely; on CHK, I kind of settled on CRK RRC for high debt oversold small caps - CRK has more liquidity than most - new bank line, new discoveries, cheap cfps multiple etc. - you can throw a dart in most small caps more than likely... some like BNO are enigma's, EPEX blew off from $7 to $2's etc - I like those with lots of info publically available & good analyst following & Institutional ownership. TMR technically looks like a strong bouncer here - mid/low $4's should be easy.

I really am swinging back to the larger caps like EOG NBL UPR since they're coming off $2-$3 from recent move - back to prior lows...

TLM DVN are rocks, excellent co's - I just don't follow them, look for more volatility - upside potential. Also, MRO is a nice buy here for those wanting less volatile big caps... I traded KMG early in the cycle - moved well, not cheap though here imo...

anyone nibblin ?

RRC, MEXP, and EEE

fIXER:

What mid and Small cap. Nat. Gas plays do you like?

Personally, I like Range Resources Corporation (NYSE:RRC), Miller Exploration (NASDAQ:MEXP), and Canadian 88 Energy Corp. (AMEX:EEE).

Range Resources (RRC) is an independent oil and gas company operating the Permian, Midcontinent, Appalachian and Gulf Coast regions of the United States. Range's production in 3Q was 76% natural gas.

Miller Exploration (MEXP) is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with established exploration efforts concentrated primarily in two regions: the Mississippi Salt Basin and the Blackfeet Indian Reservation of Northwest Montana. Miller emphasizes the use of 3-D seismic data analysis and imaging, as well as other emerging technologies, to explore for and develop oil and natural gas in its core exploration areas. Miller is the successor to the independent oil and natural gas exploration and production business first established in Michigan by members of the Miller family in 1925. Miller's production in 3Q was 83% natural gas.

Canadian 88 Energy (EEE) is an independent public oil and gas company with their head office in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The shares of Canadian 88 Energy Corp. are traded on the Toronto, Canadian Venture and American Stock Exchanges. 88's production in 3Q was 85% natural gas.

They're three of my picks for the Year 2000, a bunch of undervalued plays nicknamed Razor's Runts. #reply-12328125
