Yes and no. Yes, I'm sure he takes great care to apply the concepts to his venture investments. But no, because he does not hold substantial equity positions in a few public gorillas and kings, like we all do, and therefore he might not be quite as careful as we are when commenting on companies like Q and JDSU.
