Am just thinking Dell price dip today may be the result of postphoning gains on stock bought at 10 to 20 in first half of 1998 and which was held right thru 1999. Selling today ( in yr 2000) gains a year before reporting taxable profits of up to 400%.
Actually Dell not doing too bad, up 66% in a bit over a year. Yhoo target raised to 500 today, then next bull on bandwagon raised it to 600, Anyone care to make it 700? Yahooooooooooooooooooooowe

Hi Jim,..Re:. Hmmm... the news release came out of Houston.

I was curious as well. Plus the IDC report that I saw was dated Dec. 7, 1999 and Jan. 3, 2000 seems a little late in publishing the good news. <g> Also noticed they were careful to say CPQ was No. 1 in North America rather that just the U.S. too. <g>

But since I'm holding Jan calls, I didn't really mind. <gg>

Best,

Lee

PS - I think you post very witty and substantiative posts. <g>
