Just saw an ABC News report on online auctions (mostly focussed on Ebay). They seemed intent on highlighting the cases of fraud, so they shopped for items like Vuitton, Cartier, and Nippon. You know, the brand names we all look for on Ebay. ;-) Personally, I'm not looking for a Rolex or Mercedes at my local fleamarket, but that's ABC. Surprisingly, they leavened the story with some positive examples and satisfied customers, along with some suggestions of what to do in the case of fraud. Meg was also shown in a few clips, giving suggestions. Overall, I'd say it was a positive piece. More of a primer for newbies or those totally unfamiliar with Ebay. I think it will definitely increase traffic to the site. Jape

Doug, I agree something could happen here.....although the current valuation is absurd by most any yardstick, by the internet standards, this thing looks cheap....and where else could you get such a headstart as with ebay...
