I think we may have that classic meeting of the Buy and Hold investor and the Day/Swing trader. Totally different set of expectations and market indicators. I am a B&H. Peter, are you a day trader?

Cool profile. I've worked overseas as well, but in Hong Kong.

You have taken the precaution of selling calls, which now seems like a wise move. I know of other successful, experienced investors who would liquidate a position rather than try to protect it. Different people with different techniques. All that matters is how well they execute.
