Ralph, I think that should say some international calls. Calling from some places to some places CAN still be expensive. I'm sure (well at least I hope)they will work out the price that guarantees the largest total revenue after some tinkering with the numbers.

It's a point that could use some clarification, but I believe that one should be able to call internationally using any LD carrier on a G* phone, even in Sat mode. In that case, you would pay 1.50 or so per minute for the sat air time connection to your LD supplier's access number, and pay (separately) whatever the LD provider charges you for that particular call.

You have obviously never tried to call FROM mexico to the US cost me like $2 a minute!
