Sarmand,

<<By the way, the reason I think short cover has not started yet is that there were no sudden spikes and retreats in the price behaviour today. Usually short covering is apparent because there will sudden panic spikes.>>

Sorry but I cannot agree. In fact, I suspect if we had all been thinking "market" instead of "DD" we could have seen this coming from a mile away. In my opinion there was a lot of pent up pressure based on deferment of profit taking into the new year. I think this was on the short side as well as the long side. In fact, to be honest I might have been part of the herd but, for whatever stroke of fortune that has nothing to do with a keen sense of timing, I took mine on Monday. Or rather, I took profits on half of my SEG. The rest I intend to hold on to through the earnings report which, IMO, will be very good news. I am still amazed that this didn't happen on Monday. Were there a lot of folks sniffing the air on Monday? I guess so.

Best,
Stitch
