I mean no offense; however, Aloha Mike quoted TFM accurately. If one follows the rules then GSTRF is not yet a Gorilla because it has yet to perform. According to TFM one doesn't buy on WHAT WILL BE but on WHAT HAS BEEN and GSTRF doesn't yet meet the criteria. That said, FWIW I took a small position in GSTRF at 22 after reading through the discussion on this thread and DD. I was early and clearly understood GSTRF is not yet a Gorilla, but I believe it will be simian or King. We'll see.

Dr. Cosmo, you can't have a Gorilla without a Tornado; that's the way they are conceived.
In absence of extremely high winds, they can be nothing more than a Snowball.

Appreciate the feedback on G* Cosmo....where you been?

You paint an attractive picture. Nevertheless, I remember discussion on the G* thread about transmission clarity under trees, in buildings, between tall skyscrapers, etc. While Gilder says "beta testing is going well", how do we know? It was also my understanding last year that the use of the present satellite system/handsets will be for voice only........not data. Has that changed? Exactly when will it be used for data transmission?

You did teach me one thing I didn't realize. That is, that the system will get revenues from "satellite roaming" by land-based wireless systems. I like that.

Cosmo, please justify this bit of statement you make re G* and HDR:
GSTRF has developed a go anywhere wireless phone system that will be primarily satelite. The system
would also roam on digital CDMA (SprintPCS) systems. Also unused bandwith available will be used for
HDR, anywhere in the world HDR data service for internet connections.

This system is PRIMARILY land based, going to satellite when no land system is available.
HDR? Better do some homework Cosmo, let me know where you verified HDR from G* 1st generation sats...my info says no way.......please respond politely, not as you do on private mail.
