Hi Joanie and All~ Remember what you said about "hoping it becomes serendipity for me (and KLP note, maybe more than me...:D)" Well, this morning's headlines say: Compaq spends $370 million for some of Inacomp's assets.... Subject 11981 I keep thinking there is no accident in this universe, and that things happen for reasons....I have no idea if this will do much for the stock or not ---and with all the news and hype for the last couple of days --who would really know..... BUT with the sequence of events, I think that serendipity surely entered into this one! My husband has some CPQ leaps, so that is what made me do some investigating in the first place...and really wondered about the rumors about ICO and CPQ...and really couldn't figure out how that would work with what Craig McCaw was trying to put together....so after some hours of checking things....FINALLY realized that we were talking two stocks with the same symbols, two stock exchanges, and now a third symbol as ICO Global Communications has been de-listed from Naz until all the bankruptcy, and reinfusion of money from McCaw's investor group takes place....as near as I can tell that should be this summer. HOWEVER, wonder if any of you know how to find out where a delisted stock can be purchased, and if it can be purchased, and then if that is wise....???? I found it (ICOPQ) info on quicken.com ....it was traded at $1.63 Monday, and $2.00 yesterday....(!!!! a 37% increase in a totally down day!!!!) I really think this is something that Techriders might want to follow, if for no other reason than trying to view into the future with McCaw....and seeing how his vision might affect either stocks you currently own, or those you might think about...Because of my business, I've watched him for several years now, and believe he really is a true visionary. It will be very interesting to see what happens here!!! KLP PS....Can't figure out if you are up early, or stayed up late....I couldn't sleep this AM, so was up early...
